Week 7 of the 2025 NFL season is already upon us and the action will continue on Sunday with an NFC East rivalry showdown featuring the Washington Commanders visiting the Dallas Cowboys at 4:25 p.m. ET on FOX.
The Cowboys came up short on the road last Sunday, falling to the Panthers 30-27 by way of a last second field goal that put them back under .500 for the season. Wide receiver Ryan Flournoy was only able to chip in a few receptions in the setback and we’ll see if he can make a bigger impact in this divisional matchup.
Below, we’ll go over Flournoy’s outlook in fantasy football for Week 7.
Fantasy Football analysis: Cowboys WR Ryan Flournoy
Flournoy caught just three of six targets for 33 yards in last week’s loss to the Panthers, a stark dropoff from his 114-yard performance against the Jets the week prior. Him getting six targets meant that he still heavily factored into Dallas’ offensive gameplan, but that may change moving forward with All-Pro wideout CeeDee Lamb finally returning from an ankle injury this week.

Sit. With Lamb back in the mix for the Cowboys, I’d expect Flournoy to return to a tertiary role within the offense and command just a few targets. Who knows, he could still maintain a big presence in the high octane attack but for now, I’d avoid starting him.
