BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – With the college football season now past the midway point, conversations are turning to conference races and the College Football Playoff.
While the Associated Press and Coaches Polls give some context to games, those rankings are pretty meaningless when it comes to the sport’s postseason.
Since the CFP started in 2014, the rankings have always started coming out later in the year to give the committee a lot of football to judge teams by.
This year’s no different as the first rankings will be released on Tuesday, Nov. 4.
