Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Jourdan Lewis was injured during the first half of the game against the Los Angeles Rams. Lewis needed attention after making a tackle at the end of the first half on Rams running back Kyren Williams.

Lewis remained on the turf after the play and trainers appeared to be checking his shoulder. He returned to the field to close out the half as the Rams took a 21-0 lead into the break.

Lewis was on the opposite end of one of those plays as Stafford connected with Davante Adams on a goal line fade. Lewis has been one of the most consistent players on both side of the ball this season, recording two interceptions and a fumble recovery so far in his first season with the Jaguars.

The Jaguars are relatively deep at cornerback with several boundary corners available. But Lewis plays primarily out of the slot, leaving the team’s options to Christian Braswell or Jarrian Jones if he can’t return for the second half.
