MINNEAPOLIS — Eagles center Cam Jurgens suffered a knee injury in the first half of Sunday’s game against the Vikings and is questionable to return.
Jurgens went into the blue medical tent during the first quarter and came back in on the next drive. On the Eagles’ first possession of the second quarter, Jurgens left the game and was replaced by veteran backup Brett Toth.
Jurgens was seen standing on the sidelines without a helmet. The Eagles pulled him out after he was limping around on the field.
Leaving the game after one drive is not a good sign for his chances of returning.
Toth started their Week 6 loss to the New York Giants at left guard in place for Landon Dickerson. He is a huge downgrade from Jurgens, who also has not played well this season.
Edge rusher Azeez Ojulari (hamstring) and linebacker Jeremiah Trotter Jr. (ankle) are also questionable to return.
With Ojulari out, the Eagles are super thin at edge rusher. Rookie linebacker Jihaad Campbell has moved over to the edge, and Nakobe Dean is back at linebacker.
