Taylor is a 6-foot-1, 220-pound wideout who played collegiately at Ferris State. Since going undrafted in 2019, Taylor has bounced around several NFL teams, logging his most time with the Green Bay Packers. He does have considerable NFL special teams experience.
Williams went ubdrafted out of Michigan State in 2020 and spent two years on the active roster of the Philadelphia Eagles. Primarily a nose tackle, Williams appeared to have slimmed down and gotten quicker, as observed in Friday’s session.
Deal is the rookie of the group. The 6-5, 247-pound deal spent several years playing at Auburn. He’s known for his pass protection and sticky hands in the short passing game.
To create the roster spot needed for Deal, the Lions waived UDFA rookie tight end Caden Prieskorn.
