Matt Miller, ESPN – WR Jaylin Noel, Iowa State
Last updated: April 24, 2025
It’s back-to-back picks on offense as the Chargers push the need at edge rusher to another round and could instead add speed to the receiver room with Noel. He might not have elite size (5-foot-10, 194 pounds) but his ability to stretch the field vertically and win with quickness off the line of scrimmage would open up the Chargers’ scheme.
PFF Staff, Pro Football Focus – TE Elijah Arroyo, Miami
Last updated: April 24, 2025
Arroyo is a receiving tight end through and through who can line up as a wingback and in the slot. An NFL team hoping for a consistent blocker will be disappointed, though. If given a chance to show off his all-around athleticism, he can be a contributor as a big slot type.
Third round (No. 86): WR Jack Bech, TCU
Bech, at his best, has the makings of an impact WR2 at the NFL level, but he needs to continue to grow to win consistently in his releases against press and in his routes. His sure hands and playmaker mentality won’t be an issue.
Daniel Flick, Sports Illustrated – WR Jaylin Noel, Iowa State

Undersized but fast, fluid and a quality punt returner, Noel gives the Chargers another weapon next to Ladd McConkey.
Third round (No. 86): G Wyatt Milum, West Virginia
Nick Baumgardner, The Athletic – EDGE Landon Jackson, Arkansas
Last updated: April 25, 2025
The Chargers could go tight end or defensive tackle at this spot. But edge is a need, and Jackson — a 6-6, 264-pounder with speed and length — can be an edge setter or pass rusher with the ability to drop and cover for Jesse Minter.
Third round (No. 86): TE Harold Fannin, Jr.
Eric Edholm, NFL.com – DT Darius Alexander, Toledo
Last updated: April 25, 2025
The Chargers still need some muscle inside, and the mature Alexander would fit well with their aggressive style of defense.
Third round (No. 86): WR Jalen Royals, Utah State
Chris Trapasso, CBS Sports – EDGE Princely Umanmielen, Ole Miss
Last updated: April 24, 2025
Umanmielen is a battle-tested SEC rusher who’ll boost the Chargers ability to create pressure.
Third round (No. 86): DT Omarr Norman-Lott, Tennessee
