Unstoppable defensive forces met some very movable offensive objects in Week 7.

It wasn’t a pretty slate, especially early on Sunday, but there was no shortage of fireworks throughout the week, and that included another gutsy win by a depleted 49ers squad under the lights.

Here is where San Francisco sits in the latest power rankings after its 20-10 win over the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday at Levi’s Stadium and heading into the “Monday Night Football” doubleheader:

32. New York Jets (Last week: 32)

Record: 0-7

Hello darkness, my old friend. The No. 1 pick and the first crack at a franchise quarterback is theirs if they don’t screw it up. But it’s the Jets, so they’ll probably screw it up.

31. Tennessee Titans (Last week: 31)

Record: 1-6

Cam Ward’s mission every week is to simply stay alive. No, literally. He did so this week, despite five more sacks, and didn’t look completely horrible while doing so. Moral victory I guess.

30. New Orleans Saints (Last week: 29)

Record: 1-6

Ahh, there’s the Spencer Rattler we expected this season. I know Alvin Kamara vehemently doesn’t want to be traded, but he might want to re-think that.

29. Miami Dolphins (Last week: 28)

Record: 1-6

If it’s not sunny and at least 75 degrees out, Miami’s offense just falls apart. A tumultuous week got even worse, and now we might see some big changes.

28. Las Vegas Raiders (Last week: 26)

Record: 2-5

Just ride Geno Smith into a top pick next spring. Neither of the backup options are any better, so embrace the ugly tank.

27. Baltimore Ravens (Last week: 25)

Record: 1-5

(Bye week)

26. Cleveland Browns (Last week: 30)

Record: 2-5

I’m not sure what was more powerful on Sunday, the 40-mile-per-hour winds or rookie Quinshon Judkins, who is the new bellcow in Cleveland.

25. New York Giants (Last week: 22)

Record: 2-5

That was one hell of an effort from Jaxson Dart against an elite Denver defense and should be a major boost of confidence moving forward.

24. Cincinnati Bengals (Last week: 27)

Record: 3-4

Joe Flacco saves the day, and all of a sudden the offense as a whole is firing on all cylinders, even Chase Brown. That’s what having a competent leader under center can do. Don’t count out Cincy just yet.

23. Arizona Cardinals (Last week: 24)

Record: 2-5

Jacoby Brissett is one of those backups who every once in a while can deliver a major upset. That almost was the case last week and on Sunday.

22. Houston Texans (Last week: 20)

Record: 2-3

(Monday Night Football)

21. Carolina Panthers (Last week: 23)

Record: 4-3

If you like old-school football, you will love this frisky Panthers team. They’re playing good defense and running the ball like crazy. They might not end up being a playoff team, but they have a formula that will keep them in most games.

20. Washington Commanders (Last week: 19)

Record: 3-4

Jayden Daniels is hurt again, and if he misses extended time, so might Washington’s playoff chances.

19. Minnesota Vikings (Last week: 18)

Record: 3-3

Carson Wentz Revenge Game” implies he at one point was done wrong by Philadelphia. By that logic, Minnesota’s offense will have its revenge game next week when he finally goes back to the bench.

18. Dallas Cowboys (Last week: 21)

Record: 3-3-1

Dallas might have the best offense in the league. Dak Prescott is one of three quarterbacks leading the way for MVP and now he has CeeDee Lamb back.

17. Atlanta Falcons (Last week: 15)

Record: 3-3

The offense came out flat, and it surprisingly started with Bijan Robinson. Michael Penix played well, but Atlanta’s biggest stars were nowhere to be found after last week’s upset.

16. Chicago Bears (Last week: 16)

Record: 4-2

I can’t tell how good Chicago truly is, but it has a big test next week against Lamar Jackson and a Ravens squad desperate for a win.

15. New England Patriots (Last week: 17)

Record: 5-2

The Pats are good again. How good? Well, the teams they’ve beaten have a combined record of 11-23, so it remains to be seen. All we know for sure is Drake Maye is a stud.

14. Jacksonville Jaguars (Last week: 11)

Record: 4-3

The Jags from the first quarter of the season are gone. The offense was completely inept and the defense was torn to shreds. They still can compete for a playoff spot, but this looks more like a 9-8 team.

13. Los Angeles Chargers (Last week: 8)

Record: 4-3

The sky might be falling for Justin Herbert and the Chargers. A banged-up offensive line is proving costly and the defense has softened up.

12. Seattle Seahawks (Last week: 13)

Record: 4-2

(Monday Night Football)

11. Pittsburgh Steelers (Last week: 9)

Record: 4-2

It’s time to sound all the alarm bells for Pittsburgh’s defense. They got absolutely torched against a 40-year-old statue under center. Not even Aaron Rodgers could win this shoot-out.

10. San Francisco 49ers (Last week: 12)

Record: 5-2

Another gutsy, gutsy win in prime time. The defense, without its stars, played their asses off. Christian McCaffrey did it all in his best game of the season. Very impressive all-around.

9. Denver Broncos (Last week: 14)

Record: 5-2

Bo Nix put the team on his back and delivered perhaps the most impressive win of his career when his all-world defense fell apart.

8. Los Angeles Rams (Last week: 10)

Record: 5-2

Matthew Stafford lobbed five touchdowns, three to Davante Adams, and the defense went up against a Jags’ offense who was playing with the controller unplugged. As easy of a win as they come.

7. Kansas City Chiefs (Last week: 9)

Record: 4-3

Oh great, Patrick Mahomes is playing like an MVP again. Rashee Rice’s impact was felt immediately and Kansas City appears ready to make a major run.

6. Buffalo Bills (Last week: 3)

Record: 4-2

(Bye week)

5. Green Bay Packers (Last week: 4)

Record: 4-1-1

Micah Parsons’ coming-out game could not have come at a better time because the offense was anemic and almost fell victim to the trap game.

4. Philadelphia Eagles (Last week: 5)

Record: 5-2

Every now and then, Jalen Hurts will have one of those ‘F- it, someone’s down there somewhere’ games. He had one on Sunday, and both DeVonta Smith and A.J. Brown indeed were down there.

3. Detroit Lions (Last week: 2)

Record: 4-2

(Monday Night Football)

2. Indianapolis Colts (Last week: 6)

Record: 6-1

The best record in football and truly one of the best all-around teams in the league. This is not a fluke and they need to be taken very, very seriously as a championship contender.

1. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Last week: 1)

Record: 5-1

(Monday Night Football)
