On Monday, Jacksonville Jaguars’ head coach Liam Coen provided a brief injury update on linebacker Devin Lloyd.

Lloyd sustained a calf injury in the Jaguars‘ Week 6 game against Seattle. He was ruled out early last week and did not travel with the team to London.

“It’s still ‘TBD’ on this week,” Coen said, via Jaguars.com. “Hopeful, but we’re trying to be also smart with it, figuring out, ‘OK, what’s the best to get him feeling as good as he can to go play at a highest level?'”

Lloyd was off to a terrific start this season, which included being named the AFC’s Defensive Player of the Month in September.

Through six games, he’s generated 10 quarterback pressures, while remaining stout as a run defender. Lloyd has also come away with four interceptions, including a pick-six.

Without Lloyd, Ventrell Miller has started at middle linebacker for the Jaguars.

Against the Rams, Miller logged a quarterback pressure, seven total tackles, and he allowed just 11 yards on two receptions in coverage, according to PFF.

The Jaguars are on their bye week, which will provide Lloyd with additional time to get healthy. In Week 9, the Jaguars will take on the Las Vegas Raiders on the road.
