The Kansas City Chiefs improved their regular-season record to 4-3 after a blowout victory over the Las Vegas Raiders at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday.
The Chiefs’ offense was firing on all cylinders in Week 7, with star quarterback Patrick Mahomes throwing for 286 yards and three touchdowns. Fresh off his six-week absence, veteran wide receiver Rashee Rice found the end zone twice in Kansas City’s decisive win.

Led by star pass-rusher Chris Jones, the Chiefs’ defense managed to shut out veteran quarterback Geno Smith and the Raiders to push Kansas City’s record above .500 for the first time this season.
As a result of his efforts, Pro Football Focus awarded Jones a grade of 91.1, the highest among all Chiefs players in Sunday’s game.
The former Mississippi State Bulldog has been a cornerstone of Kansas City’s defense since he was selected by the Chiefs in the second round of the 2016 NFL draft.
Though he has gotten off to a rather slow start in Kansas City’s 2025 campaign, fans should expect Jones’ to make a major impact during the Chiefs’ Week 8 matchup against the Washington Commanders on ‘Monday Night Football.’
