The Tennessee Titans are off, but that didn’t stop the coaching staff and front office from making some small changes to the practice squad.

First, the Titans waived linebacker Curtis Jacobs, in a move dictated by NFL rules. Tennessee has already activated Jacobs a league-maximum three times in 2025, making him ineligible to be elevated by the Titans. If Tennessee wants to continue to have his skills available on game day, they will have to sign him to the active 53-man roster.

To take his place on the practice squad, Tennessee added two players to the mix: outside linebacker Ochaun Mathis and defensive end David Ebuka Agoha. Agoha worked out for Tennessee earlier in the day and joined the Titans with an international player exemption.

Mathis comes to the Titans with a unique and ironic connection, entering the league as a sixth-round pick of the Los Angeles Rams in the 2023 NFL draft, with a pick the Rams obtained in a trade with Tennessee for wide receiver Robert Woods. In all, he has seen action in 14 NFL games, making five tackles and one forced fumble while playing for three different NFL teams. Most recently he was in training camp with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Both players should be on the field Wednesday when Tennessee ramps up practice for their Week 8 matchup with the Indianapolis Colts
