Jon Hoefling: Washington Commanders (+10)
The Chiefs are on the rise. The Commanders are on the decline. That makes this the perfect opportunity to take the massive underdog. Marcus Mariota didn’t exactly play poorly when he replaced Daniels earlier this year, and we should expect the Chiefs to regress a little bit after their enormous win over Las Vegas.
Jordan Mendoza: Kansas City Chiefs (-10)
It just keeps getting worse for Washington, and it gets no favors going against a hot Kansas City team. Regardless if Jayden Daniels plays, it doesn’t look like it will be a fun night for the Commanders.
Tyler Dragon: Kansas City Chiefs (-10)
The Chiefs got Rashee Rice back and look like Super Bowl contenders once again. Kansas City’s won two straight games.
Lorenzo Reyes: Kansas City Chiefs (-10)
I think this is an excellent spot for the Chiefs, who are improving with each week. Now with Rashee Rice back in the fold, the offense is far more dynamic. The Commanders, meanwhile, might be without Jayden Daniels, who would likely be limited even if he can play with an injured hamstring. I think Kansas City rolls here.
Richard Morin: Kansas City Chiefs (-10)
With Jayden Daniels’ status uncertain, I like the Chiefs to cover at home. This game will also help comprise the 2025 Sports Equinox, with the NBA, NHL and MLB all also in action during Monday Night Football.
Christopher Bumbaca: Kansas City Chiefs (-10)
The vibes around the Commanders right no are no bueno. And everything is peach in Kansas City. Famous last words.
