In the NFL Week 8 playoff standings, where do the Indianapolis Colts now stand?
At 6-1 on the season, the Indianapolis Colts hold the best record in all of football as the only team with six wins entering Week 8.
So naturally, when it comes to playoff seeding in the AFC, the Colts currently sit at the top of the conference as the one seed.
With the current playoff format, the one seed from each conference is the only team to get a first-round bye in the postseason. They then, of course, also have home-field advantage throughout the playoffs.
Along with being the AFC’s one seed, the Colts now also have a two-game lead in the AFC South, following the Jacksonville Jaguars‘ loss to the LA Rams.
According to NFL.com, the Colts’ playoff probability sits at 94% — the highest of any team in football.
