Syracuse, N.Y. — The Syracuse football program has brought in a defensive coach who earned the nickname “Dr. Blitz” during nearly five decades of coaching to help boost its defense.
Former UMass head coach and Michigan defensive coordinator Don Brown, 70, began working with the SU football program recently, defensive coordinator Elijah Robinson said.
