BISMARCK — Bismarck football head coach Daniel “DJ” Keithley and staff continues to roar the Lions on the championship caliber path as 3A title contenders moving up to the No. 4 ranking this week according to the Arkansas Sports Media High School Football Poll for Week 8.

The defending 7-3A Conference champion Lions maintain their dominant fashion of football after securing a massive 42-0 win against Harmony Grove of Ouachita County Hornets. The Lions extended their unbeaten winning-streak in conference from last season—which includes an undefeated streak in victories at home carrying over from the 2024 season to this year.

This Friday, the Lions return on the road to familiar territory and set for a conference showdown in Nevada County taking on the Prescott Curley Wolves.

Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. at Cummins Stadium, Eddie Jackson Field. Keithley is very aware of the tradition and expectations that Prescott football presents. Last year was a historic time for Bismarck’s football program, igniting their first win against the Curley Wolves during Keithley’s reign as head coach.
