The Seattle Seahawks are 5-2 with approximately two weeks until the NFL trade deadline (Nov. 4). With the Los Angeles Rams and San Francisco 49ers also sporting the same record in the NFC West, the Seahawks can’t afford to get complacent.

Derick Hall and Boye Mafe have combined for zero sacks this season. If the Seahawks GM John Schneider is going to acquire anybody at the trade deadline, it will probably be a pass rusher. We’ve identified three potential options.

The 1-6 Tennessee Titans will be aggressive sellers at the deadline. Arden Key is on an expiring contract and isn’t in their long-term roster plans. From 2021 to 2024, Key produced four consecutive campaigns with 4.5-or-more sacks. He’s on pace for a similar output this season and would help the Seahawks’ defensive line as a low-cost addition.

Malcolm Koonce, Las Vegas Raiders

The 2-5 Las Vegas Raiders are in a similar position to the Titans. They need additional draft capital to rebuild the roster and Malcolm Koonce is on an expiring contract. Koonce produced 8.0 sacks in 2023 before tearing his ACL in 2024, and is beginning to show signs of recapturing his previous strength and effectiveness.

Bradley Chubb/Jaelan Phillips, Miami Dolphins

Both Miami Dolphins pass rushers could be available for trade. Bradley Chubb is a proven veteran. Jaelan Phillips is on an expiring rookie contract and has been productive when healthy. Either one would help upgrade the Seahawks’ pass rush.
