What year is it, again?
Seven weeks into the 2025 NFL season, the AFC’s four division leaders are the Indianapolis Colts, New England Patriots, Denver Broncos and Pittsburgh Steelers. That brings back memories from a decade ago when those teams were quarterbacked by Andrew Luck, Tom Brady, Peyton Manning and Ben Roethlisberger, respectively.
The NFL’s official Twitter/X page noted earlier this week that the last time the Colts, Patriots, Broncos and Steelers all won their respective divisions was 2014 when Denver and New England went 12-4 and Pittsburgh and Indy went 11-5.
Now led by quarterback Daniel Jones, the Colts are currently the No. 1 team in the conference, followed by the Drake Maye-led Patriots (5-2), Bo Nix-led Broncos (5-2) and Aaron Rodgers-led Steelers (4-2).
After losing to Indy in the divisional round of the 2014 playoffs, Denver went on to win the Super Bowl in 2015. We’ll see what happens this time around.
