Week eight of the 2025 NFL season is here and with it is a smaller slate of games due to bye weeks. There are still quality matchups though so lets break down the ex-bama players to watch this weekend.
Bills at Panthers (Noon ct. Sun. Oct. 26):
Bryce Young (Panthers) – Can the Panthers continue their home win streak? With how the Falcons were able to tear the Bills up on the ground at home, the Panthers should be able to do the same. Look for Bryce to manage a quality offensive game plan on the back of Dowdle in the run game. Should be a great game in Charlotte.
Bears at Ravens (Noon ct. Sun. Oct. 26):
Derrick Henry (Ravens) – With the supposed return of Jackson under center, this run game and offense should get back on track. Expect Henry to have a quality game and to be leaned on since this Bears defense is solid against the pass.
Giants at Eagles (Noon ct. Sun. Oct. 26):
Jalen Hurts (Eagles) – With a great game against the Vikings last week, expect that to continue in a revenge divisional matchup against the Giants. Don’t expect the same game plan or game flow in this one. The Eagles have seemed to hit their passing game stride and should continue that in this matchup.
DeVonta Smith (Eagles) – Coming off his best game of the season as well, Smith should be a huge factor and was almost a pass away from breaking open the game against the Giants a few weeks ago. Look for him to be the main target again in this one.
Notable players to watch:Â
Josh Jacobs (Packers) – With a great game last week, the feature back for the Pack should have another top game, but don’t be surprised though if this Steelers defense bows up in this matchup.
That does it for the week eight outlook. Check back Tuesday for the recap.
