Remember that rumor about former Houston Texans Pro Bowl wide receiver Stefon Diggs’ relationship with Grammy Award-winning rapper Cardi B?
It’s now become official.
The former Texans star showed up at Madison Square Garden on Monday night, holding hands as they walked into the building for Game 4 of the New York Knicks-Boston Celtics playoff series. The now-New England Patriots starter was also spotted beside Bad Bunny and another famous couple Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner, as well as her sister Kendall Jenner.
The Knicks would improve to 3-1 in the series with a 121-113 win.
The Texans acquired Diggs and two picks last offseason from the Buffalo Bills for a 2025 second-rounder. After the trade became official, the Texans and Diggs agreed to void the final three years of his $104 million contract initially signed in 2022 with Buffalo and instead put him on a condensed one-year, $22.5 million deal.
Diggs, 31, was well on his way to earning a massive payday in Houston after taking over for the injured Nico Collins in Week 5, but a torn ACL limited him to eight games in a Texans uniform. He finished his time in Houston with 47 catches for 496 yards and four total touchdowns.
In March, Diggs inked a three-year, $69 million deal with the Patriots to become the new No. 1 target for rookie sensation Drake Maye under new head coach Mike Vrabel.
Since stepping off the field due to injury, Diggs has been making his rounds across the NFL and fashion world. He was present on the sidelines with Tank Dell for the Texans’ wild-card playoff win over the Los Angeles Chargers. Diggs was later seen overseas for Paris Fashion Week in January.
He returned in the States for New York Fashion Week in February and then in Italy for Milan Fashion Week in March. He also was at the Met Gala last week, though he appeared to arrive by himself.
The Texans return to practice with Collins and Iowa State wideouts Jayden Higgins and Jaylin Noel later this week.
