The Chicago Bears extended their winning streak to four games last week with a 26-14 home victory over the New Orleans Saints, and head coach Ben Johnson was mic’d up for the occasion.
Clips shared by the team on social media featured plenty of play-call jargon from Johnson, as well as his decision to make a key challenge late in the game on a forward lateral that erased a huge gain on third-and-long that would’ve resulted in a first down for the Saints.
Here’s the video:
I’m guessing Johnson particularly enjoyed that last play call, lining up in victory formation to give his team a 4-2 record after a dismal 0-2 start.
This week, Johnson and the Bears will look to score a fifth straight win, this time on the road against the Baltimore Ravens. That might be a tall task, since the Ravens could be getting star quarterback Lamar Jackson back from a hamstring injury.
