The Cincinnati Bengals get the New York Jets after their mini bye following Thursday Night Football. The Bengals had an incredible win against the Pittsburgh Steelers that has kept their season alive and well in a frankly messed-up AFC.

This game should see Cincinnati getting back up to .500, as New York has been the worst team in the NFL. They are 0-7 this year, and the owner is publicly calling out Justin Fields in the media, defending his head coach. Joe Flacco and this offense now have had a decent time to get on the same page, and this will easily be the worst defense they’ve seen.

The big danger here is if the Bengals approach this with the confidence that they will steamroll this Jets team. Cincinnati still has to come out and give their best effort despite New York’s record. Simply put, while the Bengals look better with Flacco, they can still easily lose to these Jets if they let them hang around or come out as if it is a walkthrough.

Can the Bengals avoid the upset at home?
