Jake Browning replaced Burrow at QB with Cincinnati trailing, 14-7, in the second quarter.
The Browning experience was a roller coaster for Cincy on Sunday. He threw three interceptions, but also accounted for three total touchdowns, including the game-winning score on a 1-yard sneak in the final seconds.
In all, Browning completed 21 of 32 passes for 241 yards in the win.
Burrow was 7-of-13 passing for 76 yards with an early touchdown pass to Ja’Marr Chase at the time of his injury.
Burrow led the NFL in passing last season, but he has had multiple seasons marred by injuries in his six-year career. His rookie season was cut short due to a torn ACL, and a wrist injury ended his 2023 campaign in mid-November.
Browning started seven games for the Bengals following Burrow’s wrist injury in 2023, going 4-3.
