The Pittsburgh Steelers have been down this road once already this season with late-week injury additions — and fans are hoping history won’t repeat itself this time with T.J. Watt, who was limited on Thursday ahead of the Week 8 matchup vs. the Green Bay Packers.
Watt was originally listed as a non-injury-related, resting veteran on the first practice report of the week but was unfortunately limited with a hip injury on Thursday — leaving many concerned about his status for Sunday Night Football vs. the Packers.

Pittsburgh has dealt with an eerily similar situation back in Week 4, when star RB Jaylen Warren was listed as a NIR-resting vet early in the week, only to wind up missing the game after picking up the additional knee injury designation — which hopefully isn’t the case for Watt.
We at Steelers Wire are committed to providing updates on Watt’s condition as Week 8’s game between Pittsburgh and Green Bay inches ever closer.
