The New York Jets will continue to seek their first win of the season as they visit the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday afternoon.
New York hasn’t been able to score points lately, but neither have their opponents, and I’m banking on another game coming in Under the total in my Jets vs. Bengals predictions.

Jets vs Bengals prediction
Jets vs Bengals Best bet:Â Under 44.5 (-110 at FanDuel)
The Cincinnati Bengals offense looked better last week with Joe Flacco at the helm, but I’m not entirely convinced that they can keep up anywhere near that level of production.
The Pittsburgh Steelers have been one of the worst defensive teams in the NFL, allowing 258.8 yards per game through the air and 23.3 ppg, letting three opponents – including the New York Jets – to get 30+ points this year.

The Jets have been outstanding on defense over the past few weeks after some shortcomings earlier in the season. While New York keeps losing, they held both the Denver Broncos and the Carolina Panthers to just 13 points each, with those opponents averaging 274 yards of total offense.
New York’s only problem is that they can’t seem to score no matter what they try. The Bengals defense hasn’t been holding up its end of the bargain this year, but Cincinnati won’t have to do much to stop the Jets, who are averaging just 18.4 ppg on offense.
Whether with Justin Fields or Tyrod Taylor at quarterback, the Jets don’t look capable of moving the ball against anyone right now. With both offenses likely to struggle, the Under is the clear play.

Jets vs Bengals same-game parlay
The Under plays right into the hands of Jets bettors, as it makes it all the more likely we’ll have a one-score game.
Of course, someone will have to score for the Jets, and Breece Hall has been their best weapon, so I’m willing to take a shot on him finding the endzone on Sunday.
Jets vs Bengals SGPOur big-ticket SGP: Keep expectations to a minimum
The Jets are allowing just 197.1 yards per game through the air, and I need to see more than one big game out of Flacco to believe he’s going to find consistent success with the Bengals.
Not only is Taylor dealing with a knee injury, but so is receiver Garrett Wilson, leaving an already weak New York passing attack in an even more precarious state this week.
