With the Jaguars on their bye week, let’s take a peek ahead to the 2026 offseason, specifically, who Jacksonville’s pending free agents are.

Under new GM James Gladstone, this past offseason was one that was full of change for the Jaguars, who experienced a heavy amount of roster turnover.

There certainly won’t be as much of that in 2026, but as Gladstone continues to reshape the roster in his vision, there will be additional decisions to be made about several players who currently fill big roles on this year’s team.

LB Devin Lloyd

The Jaguars did not pick up Lloyd’s fifth-year option for the 2026 season, which makes him a free agent this offseason. Lloyd is working through a calf injury at the moment, but was off to a terrific start this season, which included being named the AFC Defensive Player of the Month in September.

RB Travis Etienne

The Jaguars invested two draft picks into the running back position, but Etienne is putting together a strong season in the Liam Coen offense. He is on pace for a 1,000-yard season and is averaging 5.3 yards per rush, according to PFF.

WR Dyami Brown

The Jaguars signed Brown to a one-year deal this past offseason. He’s caught 16-of-27 passes for 194 yards with a touchdown. Coen has also gotten him involved with some designed touches as a ball carrier as well.

CB Greg Newsome

The Jaguars acquired Newsome in the trade that sent Tyson Campbell to Cleveland. Newsome is playing out his fifth-year option currently, which makes him a free agent in 2026. Gladstone has the flexibility to either bring Newsome back or to let him go.

CB Montaric Brown

An injury sidelined Brown early on this season, but in the most recent game, he played 70 snaps and started at outside cornerback. Prior to Brown’s injury in training camp, he was getting a lot of work with the first team defense.

S Andrew Wingard

Wingard has been starting at safety next to Eric Murray. He’s made some splash plays but has surrendered some big plays as well. He has four pressures, 37 total tackles, an interception, and is allowing 14.3 yards per catch.
