The Bills have been making moves on their roster lately, but they’re not moves because of players being traded. Unfortunately, injuries have forced the Bills to shuffle players on and off of the injury lists and practice squad quite a bit.
Some good news for the Buffalo Bills first
The Bills are definitely in need of some help on their defense. They’ve seen major players get hurt this year and they’ve already had to rely on their depth. This week, though, they’ve got two more players coming back from suspensions that might be able to give them a boost.
Both Larry Ogunjobi and Michael Hoecht who were suspended were able to join back up with the team before their game in Carolina.
There is bad news for the Bills again this week
It’s good to have that news for the defense because once again, some of the starters will be missing this week. Starting defensive tackle DaQuan Jones has been dealing with a calf injury and is being ruled “out” for Sunday’s game again.
The other bad news is an even bigger blow. Starting safety Taylor Rapp is being sent to IR and will miss at least the next 4 games as he has been struggling with a knee injury that he got in training camp. Coach Sean McDermott said that he has been “gutting it out” for the past couple of weeks but that it was to a point where he wasn’t able to play the position at the level where they need him to be.
More players are questionable week 8 for the Buffalo Bills
The bad news doesn’t end there. Four more players have been listed as “Questionable” for Sunday’s game. They include both starting linebackers Terrel Bernard and Matt Milano, tight end Dalton Kincaid who missed the last game against the Falcons, and cornerback Maxwell Hairston who has been out on IR since training camp.
The Bills will play the Carolina Panthers on Sunday at 1 pm in Carolina.
