With the NFL trade deadline less than two weeks away, we’ve updated our Pittsburgh Steelers 2026 mock draft but included projected compensatory picks and took the mock to a full seven rounds. With so much conflicting information around the future of Steelers starting Aaron Rodgers, we had to take several potential scenarios into consideration and in the end we hedged our bets with a great second-round option.

First round – WR Denzel Boston – Washington

Absolutely elite route runner and the ideal for an NFL No. 1 receiver. He’d pair perfectly with DK Metcalf.

Second round – QB Jayden Maiava- USC

Interesting kid who is a fast riser. If he keeps improving, the second round might be too late for him.

Third round – CB Julian Neal – Arkansas

Prototypical NFL boundary cornerback with elite length and instincts.

Third round – DT Skyler Gill-Howard – Texas Tech

Squatty, powerful nose who excels in stuffing the run.

Third round – OT J.C. Davis – Illinois

Been one of the best offensive tackles in the country this season and has starter potential on either side.

Day Three

Fourth round – G DJ Campbell – Texas

Fourth round – S Emmanuel McNeil-Warren – Toledo

Fifth round – RB Quintrevion Wisner – Texas

Fifth round – DT DeMonte Capehart – Clemson

Sixth round – CB Josh Moten – Southern Miss

Sixth round – LB Rasheem Biles – Pitt

Seventh round – EDGE John Henry Daley – Utah

We don’t expect all these third-day picks to be used on players because Pittsburgh could be looking to trade up if there’s a quarterback they want in the first round. But if they stand pat, this would be an excellent haul full of guys who could contribute early and develop into rotational players.
