Baltimore was looking to add more pass rushers after trading Odafe Oweh to the Los Angeles Chargers on Oct. 7 and placing Tavius Robinson on injured reserve with a broken foot on Wednesday. The Ravens have just eight sacks this season, tied with the Green Bay Packers for the fewest in the NFL.
Lawson played 15 games for the Cowboys last season and was a regular part of their pass rush rotation while also contributing on special teams.
It would be a quick turnaround to get ramped up in time to play Sunday against the Chicago Bears. The Ravens have a short week after that with “Thursday Night Football” in Miami.
