Starting lineups on offense, defense and special teams with PFF player grades.
The Atlanta Falcons will attempt to put last weekend’s loss in the rear-view mirror when they host the Miami Dolphins on Sunday afternoon at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. The team has a chance to get over .500 for the season but must do so without a few key players.
Linebacker Divine Deablo has a fractured forearm and will be out for the foreseeable future. Deablo, the team’s highest-graded defensive player in 2025, will likely be replaced by second-year linebacker JD Bertrand in Week 8. The Falcons also ruled out rookies Jalon Walker and Billy Bowman Jr. for Sunday’s game.
Quarterback Michael Penix Jr. is questionable but wide receiver Darnell Mooney was not given an injury designation. If Penix can’t play on Sunday, Kirk Cousins would replace him in the lineup against the Dolphins. For now, we’re assuming Atlanta’s QB1 will play.
