The Tennessee Titans (1-6) will take on the Indianapolis Colts (6-1) this Sunday afternoon at Lucas Oil Stadium in their eighth game of the 2025 regular season.
Opening the week, the Titans were listed as 14-point road underdogs, but that spread has worsened a bit with Tennessee now at +14.5 as of this writing.
How does the Titans Wire staff see this Week 8 battle shaking out? Here’s a look at our picks and score predictions.
Mark Mihalko: Colts 35, Titans 17
The Colts come out strong against an undermanned Titans’ defense and seize control early behind Jonathan Taylor, who faces little resistance en route to another multi-touchdown day against Tennessee. Cam Ward and the offense attempt to make it a game early, showing more positive signs of improvement, but it is nowhere near enough to keep the Titans within striking distance. Tennessee scores late to make it appear closer than it was.
Serena Burks: Colts 44, Titans 13
There’s really not much to say about this game. The Colts are 6-1, the Titans are 1-6. The Colts show no signs of slowing down, and the Titans show no signs of figuring it out. Danny Dimes leads the Colts to their seventh win of the season, defeating the Titans in Week 8.
Dan Benton: Colts 32, Titans 13
The Colts and quarterback Daniel Jones are not a fluke. What the NFL world is seeing is very real, and there’s absolutely no reason to believe they are going to get derailed by a Tennessee Titans team that has just a single win, already fired their head coach, and come into the game limping. This will be a wildly one-sided affair… which is unfortunate for the hardcore Titans fans who keep tuning in every week.
Bryan Manning: Colts 34, Titans 13
I believed the Titans would upset the Colts the first go-round. We quickly learned that the Colts are for real in 2025 and the Titans still stink. Not falling for it again. The Colts win easily.
Tyler Henry: Colts 30, Titans 16
The Colts may be the biggest surprise in the NFL this year. Could they be a product of their schedule? That may be the case, but it won’t matter in this one. The Titans rank 28th in opponent points per game, and the Colts are the top-scoring offense in the league. This one could get out of hand in a hurry.
Joel Titus: Colts 38, Titans 17
There’s little reason for hope with the Titans overall, especially with all the injuries this week. The Colts offense has been a buzzsaw all season, and I don’t expect that to change this weekend against a weakened Titans defense. The biggest focus for the Titans this week is how you game plan to develop Cam Ward, which was noticeably improved last week. I expect him to have a great completion percentage like last week and throw for over 200 yards again.
