After a 27-23 Week 7 win over the Arizona Cardinals, the Green Bay Packers get ready for a “Sunday Night Football” matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
At 4-1-1, the Packers defense has been among the best in the NFL. Through seven games, they rank sixth in total yards per game allowed (288.5).

In the win over Arizona, linebacker Quay Walker had an impressive game, racking up nine tackles (led the team), 1.5 sacks, one tackle for loss and three quarterback hits.
Going into their Week 8 matchup against the Steelers, the Packers hold the No. 1 seed in the NFC.

However, despite the strong performance from Walker, he didn’t walk away with only a win. On Saturday, the NFL announced that Walker received a $17,389 fine for a blow to the head/neck on quarterback Jacoby Brissett.

The play came with 9:33 left in the first quarter. Walker was called for a roughing the passer penalty, which the Cardinals accepted. Arizona scored a field goal at the end of the drive.
This is now the third time the linebacker has been fined since joining the NFL in 2022, the two others being for unsportsmanlike conduct. One came in 2023 for shoving a Detroit Lions athletic trainer, which he was also ejected for.
He wasn’t the only player to be fined during the game, though. Cardinals EDGE Josh Sweat lost out on $11,593 for a facemask that occurred during the second quarter.

Despite losing a significant amount of money, Walker and the Packers look forward to an exciting matchup against the Steelers. ESPN BET places Green Bay as 2.5-point favorites.
