Ahead of the Colts vs. Titans Week 8 matchup, here’s what to know about the final injury reports.
Ahead of the Indianapolis Colts vs. Tennessee Titans matchup on Sunday, let’s take one last look at the final injury reports and the potential impact they could have on this game.
For the Colts, defensive end Samson Ebukam (knee) and cornerback Jaylon Jones (hamstring) have already been ruled out. Defensive end Tyquan Lewis (groin) is questionable, but hasn’t practiced this week.
With Ebukam out and Lewis’ status up in the air, the Colts will likely be relying more on rookie JT Tuimoloau. He has played just 62 snaps this season and has often been inactive.
The Colts were already in need of more pass rush juice opposite of Laiatu Latu, and now they are navigating injuries at this position.
Jones, meanwhile, wasn’t expected to return just yet, with this being his first week back at practice. He has been on injured reserve since Week 1.
Last week, without Jones and Charvarius Ward, we saw Mekhi Blackmon starting on one side, along with Johnathan Edwards and Cameron Mitchell splitting playing time on the other side.
Colts vs. Titans final Week 8 injury reports
The Titans are going to be without several key players. Cornerback L’Jarius Sneed was placed on injured reserve earlier this week.
Defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons (hamstring) and wide receiver Calvin Ridley (hamstring) have both been ruled out. As have guard Blake Hance (shoulder/back) and wide receiver Bryce Oliver (knee).
Questionable for the Titans are safety Xavier Woods (ankle) and outside linebacker Arden Key (quadricep). Woods has one interception this season and Key has nine quarterback pressures.
