The L.A. Rams don’t play in Week 8. Who does and who does it make sense to root against?
Easy one here. The Falcons, who will be starting Kirk Cousins for the first time in 2025, are sending their first round pick to the Rams next year. Root for the Dolphins, although it’s been hard for Miami to come across wins.
A random side game: If Mike McDaniel keeps his job, the odds decrease of Chris Shula getting a head coaching gig.
It’s unlikely for the Panthers to take a wild card spot from the Rams, but you never know.
Root for: Who do you think?
Let me know in the comments who you will be rooting for in this game and why. Justin Fields was benched, or so we thought, until Tyrod Taylor was ruled out this week with an injury.
Another easy one here. The 49ers can drop out of first place with a loss.
If the Browns keep losing, we can expect them to be open to trading players. Maybe even sending one of them to the Rams?
Drop the Eagles down a peg and increase L.A.’s chances of making the playoffs or even getting the number one seed. Although this will decrease the Rams’ strength of victory, which was the tiebreaker that got L.A. the NFC West title in 2024.
This would increase the Rams strength of victory.
Another chance to knock down an NFC super power.
Or Colts? I’m not sure. Who will you be rooting for?
Same reason as the other AFC-NFC matchups.
This will be the Sunday Night Football game of the week. Monday Night Football is Commanders-Chiefs. Will Washington even make the playoffs this year?
