Not much will happen in the NFC West in Week 8. The Arizona Cardinals and two other teams in the division are idle, getting a midseason bye.
The only NFC West team to play on Sunday are the San Francisco 49ers. They visit the Houston Texans.

The 49ers, Seattle Seahawks and Los Angeles Rams are all 5-2. The Cardinals are in last place at 2-5.
Because of head-to-head tiebreakers, the 49ers are in first place, which mean only one of two things will happen. Either they will beat the Texans and pull a half-game ahead of the Rams and Seahawks to extend their lead, or they will lose and drop into third place at 5-3.
As the Cardinals are 2-5, any loss by the division rivals will help. So Cardinals fans probably should be Texans fans in Week 8.
