Seven Berks teams have qualified for the District 3 football playoffs, with Berks Catholic earning a top seed.
The Saints, Lancaster-Lebanon League Section 5 champions, are the top seed in Class 3A and have a first round bye.
Also earning first-round byes are unbeaten Twin Valley (4A), Wyomissing (4A) and Wilson (6A). Twin Valley was the LL Section 4 champion.
Three teams will play the first weekend of the district tournament.
In Class 5A, seventh-seeded Exeter (8-2) hosts 10th-seeded Lower Dauphin (7-3) at 7 p.m. Friday. The winner plays No. 2 Conestoga Valley (10-0) in the quarterfinals.
Also in Class 5A, ninth-seeded Muhlenberg (8-2) plays at eighth-seeded Spring Grove at 7 p.m. Friday. The winner plays top-seeded New Oxford (10-0) in the quarterfinals the following weekend.
In 3A, sixth-seeded Schuylkill Valley plays at third-seed Trinity at 7 p.m. Friday. The winner plays second-seeded Annville-Cleona the following weekend in the semifinals.
After a week off, Berks Catholic will play the winner of Big Spring-Bermudian Springs game. The game will be 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 7 at Berks Catholic.
Fourth-seeded Wilson (8-2) hosts fifth-seeded William Penn in the 6A quarterfinals at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 7.
Third-seeded Twin Valley (10-0) hosts West Perry at 7 p.m. in a 4A quarterfinal game on Friday, Nov. 7.
Wyomissing, 9-1 and the fourth seed, hosts fifth-seeded Lampeter-Strasburg at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8. The Spartans beat Lampeter-Strasburg 46-7 this past Friday, the last game of the regular season.
