Bengals vs. Jets Week 8 keys to victory video breakdown

Kelsey Conway breaks down the Bengals vs. Jets Week 8 matchup before kickoff.

Cincinnati Bengals defensive back DJ Turner suffered an apparent hand injury during the third quarter of the team’s NFL Week 8 game against the New York Jets at Paycor Stadium.

Turner jogged off the field holding his right hand. He then went to the locker room. He was replaced by Josh “Fig” Newton.

Turner suffered leg cramps during the third quarter of the team’s NFL Week 7 win against Pittsburgh at Paycor Stadium.

Turner made an acrobatic interception near the end of the first half against the Steelers, catching the attention of Thursday Night Football analyst Kirk Herbstreit.

“I think DJ Turner right now is playing as well as any corner in the NFL,” Herbstreit said during the broadcast.

During the 2024 season, Turner suffered a season-ending clavicle injury during the Week 11 game against the Los Angeles Chargers.

Turner played in 11 games during his second season with the Bengals, making six starts.

As a rookie, he played in all 17 games for Cincinnati, starting 12 of them.

Turner was a second-round pick of the Bengals from Michigan in the 2023 NFL draft.
