The AFC East entered Week 8 with two teams in the playoff hunt and the two teams at Nos. 1 and 2 in the 2026 NFL draft order. All four managed to get wins Sunday, though.
The Miami Dolphins, Buffalo Bills, and New England Patriots all cruised to emphatic victories by a combined margin of 84 points. The Jets got their first win of 2025 by scoring a go-ahead touchdown after the two-minute warning to beat the Cincinnati Bengals, 39-38.

New England Patriots: 6-2
Los Angeles Chargers: 5-3
Jacksonville Jaguars: 4-3
