The Atlanta Falcons could not have lost in more brutal fashion than they did in Sunday’s 34-10 blowout at the hands of the Miami Dolphins. Several factors contributed to the team’s fourth loss of the season, including a sleepy offense headed by an underperforming Kirk Cousins.

The veteran quarterback got the start in place of Michael Penix Jr. and finished with 174 passing yards. Cousins had trouble getting the offense into a rhythm as the team failed to convert on its first six third-down attempts.

It was far from his worst game in a Falcons uniform, but Cousins failed to provide a spark on offense. The defense allowed too many explosive plays, and Atlanta’s play-calling left much to be desired against the Dolphins.

While there was plenty of blame to go around after the game, Cousins took the brunt of the criticism on social media.
