Six Denver Broncos players did not play in the team’s big 44-24 win over the Dallas Cowboys in Week 8.
Broncos outside linebacker Que Robinson, defensive lineman Sai’vion Jones, quarterback Sam Ehlinger, safety J.T. Gray, defensive lineman Jordan Jackson and running back Jaleel McLaughlin were inactive and did not see the field. Ehlinger still dressed as an emergency third-string QB, but did not play.
Denver’s primary backup quarterback, Jarrett Stidham, played four snaps late in the game in relief of starting quarterback Bo Nix. Those four snaps — three handoffs and a kneeldown — marked Stidham’s first action of 2025.

McLaughlin has been a healthy scratch for all but one game this season. With the NFL’s trade deadline just over a week away, one has to wonder if Denver might consider trading the fourth-string running back who totaled 1,142 yards from scrimmage and scored six touchdowns through his first two seasons in the NFL.
