Head Coach Ben Johnson
Opening statement: “In terms of the game, [I] give Baltimore a lot of credit. They came out, and they played a physical brand of football, just like you would expect. They were hungry. They were determined, and truth be told, I expected a little bit more out of our squad to counter that on up.”
On if the Ravens and Tyler Huntley did anything they weren’t expecting: “I thought [offensive coordinator] Coach [Todd] Monken always does a great job schematically mixing things up. Like I said before, they play a physical brand of football. That showed up. That offensive line was getting after it. I thought our defensive line, it was quite a battle there throughout the game. We were intent on not letting [Derrick Henry] get started. For the most part, we did a pretty good job of that, but then Huntley hurt us with both his arm and his legs. We let him get some big ones on the ground, and then he threw some accurate balls there in the air.”
On his reaction to the change of Lamar Jackson’s injury status: “Like I said earlier in the week, we were preparing for Lamar [Jackson]. Then, when we found out that he wasn’t playing, then we get ready for the next guy.”
