Denver Broncos outside linebacker Dondrea Tillman had a hilarious response to his fourth-quarter interception of Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott on Sunday.

In the early stages of the fourth quarter, Denver had just gone up 37-17, and the Cowboys were driving. Tillman made a diving interception of Prescott at the Denver 9, alertly got back up, and broke three tackles, rumbling his way nearly to midfield.

Everyone loved the play on social media.

I’ve seen enough to believe that Sean Payton needs to draw up a package of plays with Dondrea Tillman in the H-back role

In a post-game locker room interview, Tillman offered a funny response to his interception and return. “Honestly, I was trying to score,” Tillman said. “You know, that was the first time I got my hands on the ball, and I always told myself if I ever got my hands on the ball, I’m gonna try to score. You only get one chance; you better do it all.”

Maybe next time, big guy! Keep trying to make those plays. Although Tillman didn’t score, the Broncos capitalized on the turnover, scoring their final touchdown of the game to make it 44-17, putting the final touches on the blowout win.

“It was amazing,” Tillman said of the takeaway. “That’s everything I dreamed for right there. I just dropped into my zone, and I just saw CeeDee Lamb coming across and I just sat there. I saw Dak threw the ball my way.”

Tillman got a big boost on his return from the crowd reaction at Empower Field at Mile High.

“It’s a lot, just hearing the roar,” Tillman said. “It honestly gave me an extra boost. That’s why I tried to pick up my knees and tried to run a little bit faster. Shoutout to the crowd.”

After recording five sacks in his debut season last year, Tillman has two pass breakups, one interception and one sack through eight games as a rotational pass rusher this fall.
