The lone Washington win in the series came in 1983 when the then-Redskins defeated the Chiefs 27-12 at RFK Stadium.

Washington overcame a 12-0 deficit to get the win.

A former Kansas City Chiefs kicker will start tonight for the Washington Commanders.

Kicker Matthew Wright will handle kicking duties in place of Matt Gay, who has been ruled out with a back injury.
