Star tight end Travis Kelce tied legendary running back Priest Holmes in the Kansas City Chiefs‘ record book on ‘Monday Night Football’ in Week 8.
Kelce, who scored his 83rd career touchdown in Kansas City’s win over the Washington Commanders, has now pulled even with Holmes for the most regular-season touchdowns scored in Chiefs franchise history.

A former University of Cincinnati Bearcat, Kelce joined Kansas City as a third-round pick in the 2013 NFL draft and has played with the Chiefs for his entire career.
Holmes began his career in professional football with the Baltimore Ravens, who signed him as a free agent after the 1997 NFL draft. He was signed by Kansas City in 2001 and put together one of the most productive careers in Chiefs history before his retirement in 2007.
Fans should expect to see Kelce attempt to break Holmes’ record during Kansas City’s Week 9 matchup against the Buffalo Bills at Highmark Stadium.
