The Tennessee Titans made a surprise move on Monday, trading away veteran cornerback Roger McCreary to the Los Angeles Rams for a conditional 2026 fifth-round pick, leaving them thin in the cornerback room heading into their Week 9 matchup with the Los Angeles Chargers.

To help give the unit a boost, Tennessee signed rookie Micah Robinson off of the Green Bay Packers‘ practice squad.

Robinson entered the NFL as a seventh-round pick out of Tulane in the 2025 draft and flashed during training camp. The 5-foot-11, 183-pound cornerback has spent the season on the Packers’ practice squad and was elevated for two contests without seeing any action.

He will now join Darrell Baker Jr., Jalyn Armour-Davis, Samuel Womack, and Marcus Harris on the active roster, along with Alex Johnson and Sam Webb on the practice squad.

Tennessee will return to the field on Wednesday to start preparations for their Week 9 matchup with the Chargers at Nissan Stadium.Â
