The Green Bay Packers are losing rookie cornerback Micah Robinson, who is being signed off the team’s practice squad by the Tennessee Titans, per Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.
Robinson, a seventh-round pick of the Packers in the 2025 draft, has spent the entire regular season on the practice squad. He is now headed to Tennessee, where the Titans have an open roster spot at cornerback after agreeing to trade Roger McCreary to the Los Angeles Rams on Monday.
The Packers elevated Robinson from the practice squad in both Weeks 1 and 2. He did not play a snap in either game.
Robinson was the only cornerback on the Packers practice squad, although Johnathan Baldwin and Jaylin Simpson are both safety/slot defensive backs.
During the preseason, Robinson played 97 snaps on defense and 29 snaps on special teams over three games. He made eight tackles without a miss, allowed only one catch on two targets on 56 coverage snaps and had two tackles covering kickoffs and punts.
This isn’t the first time the Titans have poached the Packers’ roster this season. Tennessee claimed rookie offensive lineman Brant Banks off waivers in October, although the Titans released him soon after, allowing Banks to return on the practice squad.
