Tyler Shough named Saints starting quarterback

The New Orleans Saints have named Tyler Shough as their starting quarterback moving forward.Spencer Rattler will now move to the bench as the backup.The Saints drafted Shough 40th overall in the NFL draft in May.Rattler has struggled at times throughout the season and was benched for Shough in last Sunday’s game.Rattler has thrown for 1,586 yards this year, 8 touchdowns, and five interceptions.Four of those interceptions have been thrown in the past two weeks.The Saints have a 1-7 record and are slated to travel to Los Angeles to play the Rams this Sunday.
