Former Penn State cornerback Amani Oruwariye has signed a deal with the Tennessee Titans, per ESPN’s senior NFL reporter Jeremy Fowler.
Oruwariye was drafted by the Detroit Lions during the 2019 NFL draft. Since then he has appeared in 61 career games, including 40 starts with the Lions. Over his career, he has recorded 27 passes defended to go alongside 10 interceptions.
He recently patroled the Cowboys’ secondary in the 2024-25 NFL Season, following his release from the Jacksonville Jaguars in late August. The Penn State product suited up for seven games in Dallas, which included four starts.
The former fifth-round selection recorded 29 total tackles, one interception, and defended three passes as a member of the Dallas Cowboys.
Oruwariye now becomes part of a revamped Titans secondary that features fellow Nittany Lion KJ Winston, who was taken by Tennessee with the No. 82 overall selection in the 2025 NFL Draft.
