Jon Hoefling: Seattle Seahawks (-3.5)
The Commanders are one of the hardest teams to predict because of Jayden Daniels’ lingering injury. He may not return in Week 9, which would make this an easy Seahawks selection. Even with Daniels though, the Commanders’ run game is too weak to pick them.
Jordan Mendoza: Seattle Seahawks (-3.5)
Washington’s offense has been really poor without Jayden Daniels, and it will be tough to keep up with Seattle’s unit. The Seahawks should be able to keep its flow going.
Tyler Dragon: Seattle Seahawks (-3.5)
Jayden Daniels’ status is in doubt Week 9. I don’t expect the Commanders to win without their star QB. Washington is 1-2 without Daniels this season.
Christopher Bumbaca: Washington Commanders (+3.5)
Back-to-back primetime games, the Commanders have to cover in one of them, right? The defense has to rebound at some point, right? Jayden Daniels has to somewhat resemble last year’s rookie campaign, right?
Lorenzo Reyes: Seattle Seahawks (-3.5)
I love the Seahawks in this spot. The Commanders may get Jayden Daniels back, but he’d likely be limited, anyway. Seattle’s defense has become fierce and swarms the ball, and the offense has solid versatility.
Blake Schuster: Seattle Seahawks (-3.5)
The Seahawks are 5-2 against the spread and I’m just not sure Washington has everything back in rhythm yet.
