The Chicago Bears are coming off a disappointing loss to the Baltimore Ravens, and their injury report was absolutely packed Wednesday.
The Bears practiced at Halas Hall for the first time ahead of their Sunday game against the Cincinnati Bengals, and their top four wide receivers were all non-participants in the workout.
That includes Luther Burden, who suffered a concussion during Sunday’s loss.
DJ Moore, who has been battling hip and groin injuries since the team’s win over the Washington Commanders, also missed practice, as did Rome Odunze, who is dealing with a heel issue. Olamide Zaccheaus didn’t practice with a knee ailment.
Running back Roschon Johnson, who missed last week’s game with a back injury, wasn’t on the field either, nor was defensive lineman Dominique Robinson, who is out with an ankle injury.
The team did get a bit of good news, as tight end Cole Kmet, who missed Sunday’s game with a back injury, and cornerback Tyrique Stevenson, who was also out with a shoulder injury, were limited participants in the Wednesday workout.
The Bengals are also dealing with injury concerns. Quarterback Joe Flacco is dealing with an AC joint sprain in his throwing shoulder, and he could be out of action for the Bengals on Sunday in Cincinnati.
Defensive end Trey Hendrickson also missed practice, as he’s dealing with a hip ailment.
The Bears and Bengals will square off at noon Sunday, with the game airing on CBS.
