Dual threat in high school
In addition to football, Riley was an elite sprinter at A.C. Flora, winning South Carolina 4A titles in the 100m and 200m. He earned all-state and all-region honors in track and was named the South Carolina Boys 4A Track Player of the Year in 2019.
Ballhawk pedigree
Prior to Louisville, Riley played three seasons at Middle Tennessee State. In 2021, Riley finished the season with the Blue Raiders with 33 tackles, including 4.5 TFLs, 1.5 sacks, and nine pass breakups. He was also ranked first in the C-USA in interceptions (5) and fourth nationally. Riley was voted First Team All-C-USA and named to the PFF All-Conference USA First Team.
Accolades
In 2023, Riley earned All-ACC Honorable Mention with Louisville. He started all 13 games for the Cardinals, recording 45 tackles, two interceptions, and eight pass breakups.
Elite pass breakup production
During his collegiate career, Riley has tallied 34 passes defended, including 15 in 2024 alone which tied for ninth in the country.
Versatile defender
Riley has experience playing outside corner, slot, and contributing on special teams with punt returns.
