The Carolina Panthers just got one step closer to locking in their entire 2025 NFL draft class.

As announced on Tuesday morning, the team has signed this year’s fourth-round selection—running back Trevor Etienne. He is now the seventh member of Carolina’s eight-player class who is officially under contract.

Etienne split his three-year collegiate career between the University of Florida (2022 to 2023) and the University of Georgia (2024). The speedy 5-foot-9, 198-pounder ran for 1,472 yards and 14 touchdowns in 24 games for the Gators before finishing up with 609 rushing yards and nine touchdowns for the Bulldogs this past season.

With 2024 second-round pick Jonathon Brooks set to miss the entirety of the 2025 campaign, Etienne is the favorite to back up Chuba Hubbard and Rico Dowdle at the running back position.

Outside linebacker Nic Scourton (second round) is the only remaining Panthers draft pick who has yet to sign his rookie deal.
